We have been coming here since the the 70’s. Always so enjoyable to just chill out. We enjoy cruising around the lake and visiting the state park. Love going to the sand dunes and walking up to take in the view of the lake and just hanging out in the water in that area. Always lots of other boaters around to visit with as you bask in the sun. The resort is clean and inviting and offers many amenities. We especially enjoy having a picnic table & grill right outside of cottage to sit and enjoy our meals outside by the waterfront. When the sun goes down a quiet night by the firepit relaxing you after a fun day on the water. The owners could not be more accommodating and always meet the nicest folks staying in the other cottages around us. I highly recommend if you don’t bring a boat, you rent one of their pontoons and get out on the lake. So pretty & relaxing to just cruise around and view the nature on the lake, it’s truly beautiful. If you head into town, it’s a great place as well, charming downtown area, beach at Lake Michigan, the Lighthouse & the famous Badger rolls in nightly~ be sure to stop for ice cream at House of Flavors~

We just finished a wonderful week here in cottage 4. This lakefront cottage was clean with comfortable beds and was very well equipped in the kitchen!! Our friends were in 6, 7, and 8 so we had the entire end of the property for our group. The other guests were very nice as well–sharing a fire pit and game area was not a problem as everyone was so friendly!. We enjoyed using the kayak, paddleboat, camp fires, and corn hole games. The owners could not have been more helpful offering to help put our boat in and dock it the first day in addition to giving us some great hints about the area. We enjoyed anchoring at the dunes and climbing them for the beautiful view. We also boated into Ludington State Park. On another day, we shopped in Ludington and did the Lighthouse tour and enjoyed the shops in Pentwater as well. We mostly enjoyed our meals at the resort. but had to get Chuckwagon pizza (fantastic) and ate at the Jamesport Brewery as well. We also enjoyed ice cream at House of Flavors as well 3 times!!
